The Hamilton Spectator is reporting that Councillor Scott Duvall and his community has forced Telus to drop plans to put up a wireless tower on Crerar Drive. Duvall is also predicting similar areas to stop plans for towers in other neighbourhoods.
The CRTC is requesting the cell companies to find additional tower space to meet the growing demand from wireless subscribers.
