Telus and Zi Corporation announced they will offer the mobile discovery solution Qix on select models of Telus phones and PDAs.
Qix is a “mobile discovery solution” that makes it easier to use your phone by searching for the program you are looking for. Honestly to us this makes no sense at all – what is really behing this technology is another way for operators to maximize global mobile advertising opportunities. With the mobile advertising industry is expected to total $11 billion by 2011, Telus will be the first carrier in North America to offer this solution to its customers.
