Since the latest Apple iPhone release last week, we’re still in complete awe of how much possibility there is with one single device and how little Canada is contributing.
The Apple iPhone is growing at blazing speeds and has become (in 8 months) one of the world’s premier phones, smartphones, multimedia players and internet browsers. The iPhone is only 2nd to RIM in the enterprise portion and is now looking to become the number one player in the United States.
Apple said it will roll out tools for developers to create software for the iPhone and a store to sell those tools called “AppStore”. This device is amazing where you can play vivid games that do not require a controller, but works with the movement of your hands. In addition, since they have dominated the Consumers audience, the iPhone is now targeting the Enterprise sector by offering push e-mail, contacts, schedule instantanoulsy.
Rogers or whoever is rumored to bring the iPhone to Canada should step up and ensure they get their fair share (rather than the majority of Canadians going for the bootleg full harware unlocked iPhone).
