Bell Aliant slashes 500 Management positions

Bell Aliant has slashed 500 management positions (representing about 5% of the overall workforce).

Karen Sheriff, President and CEO, Bell Aliant said “In 2009, we will build on our strengths and with our new organizational structure, we will accelerate our ability to deliver results for our customers and investors in more competitive and sustainable ways. We remain committed to improving customer service throughout the organization. Non-management front-line service positions are not affected by these changes.”
