Rogers first announced the Motorola Extreme as part of their “rugged” lineup of devices back in September. Now, a couple more exclusive devices have officially been added by Rogers: Samsung Rugby A836 and ZTE Rock F165.
The Samsung Rugby is available for $149.99 on a 3-year plan and is certified to U.S Military Standard MIL-STD-810F compliance… which means it can take tons of dust, shock, vibration, rain, humidity, solar radiation, altitude and extreme temperatures from – 21C degrees to +63C degrees. Key features of the Rugby are its durability and it comes with an external speaker, 1.3 megapixel camera, 8GB expandable memory with micro SD, 3G, e-mail, instant messaging, HTML browser.
The ZTE Rock runs Rogers 3.5G HSPA network and has peak download speeds of 7.2 Mbps. The Rock is durable also and has a 2 megapixel camera, 2GB expandable memory, display resolution of 176 x 220 is available for $79.99 on a 3-year plan.
