In part 2 of our review of the LG Secret, we went into further detail of the features such as its camera, video, music and internet. The call quality, reception and battery life are all good and we found nothing to be concerned with. People could clearly hear us and the battery has yet to burn out.
First, the LG Secret is a sleek looking device that only weighs in at 116 grams, 11.8 mm thin and can hold up to 16GB of extra memory. At 2.4 inches (240-320), the screen size is good for the overall size of the phone and was impressed with how easy it is to use.
Secondly, the touchscreen buttons will take a bit of getting used to as they are incredibly sensitive. However, just with everything, within a few days you’ll have this mastered.
The most impressive feature of the LG Secret is the 5 megapixel camera. Your images can be cropped, shared, saved, made into a movie etc… and can take videos with an amazing 30 frames per second. We actually did the unboxing of the LG Neon on the LG Secret and came out really clear in sound and its recording. Pictures can be viewed either portrait or landscape, scrolled through by using the touchscreen.
Regarding the music player: sound quality is good with the speaker located at the earpiece. However, the web browsing needs a bit of work as it renders pages all out of whack with text links everywhere. You can use this for quick surfing… on the good side of the web is the 3G connection speed.
Check out the video below for the full review. The LG Secret is currently available at Rogers for $149.99 on a 3-year contract.
