Looks like Best Buy wants to cash in on some early adopters for the upcoming June 2nd launch of Canada’s first Android powered devices. You can now visit your local big box and pre-order your Rogers HTC Dream and Magic!
They are promoting this pretty hard and building Google up in the process. “First, Google revolutionized the Internet. Now they’ve done the same to the Smartphone. The HTC Dream and HTC Magic come fully loaded with Google’s system, including such desirable applications as Gmail, Google Search, Google Maps and YouTube. A customizable menu and one-touch access lets you find your favourite websites and Google services instantly. Combining Google ingenuity with sleek design, the two phones also include a 3.2” touchscreen, 3.5G network connection, Wi-Fi, a 3.2MP camera and plenty of memory. The Dream even adds a highly-rated QWERTY keyboard to the mix.”
Unfortunately no word on price plans is listed anywhere. Looks like the Dream will be available in White and Black, while the Magic will be available in Black.
