TELUS released the BlackBerry Storm2 9550 yesterday and it’s puts the first generation of the Storm to shame. This is the device that RIM should have released first, but they took the feedback and make a device that’s more responsive and more productive.
You’ll see in the video that we checked out the difference between this model and the original, compared it to other touchscreens that are on the market and tested out how the improved SurePress technology performs. In addition, since one of the new features of the Storm2 was WiFi we took the touchscreen for a venture on the web and checked out the browsing experience and YouTube.
Overall, in our first review, the Storm2 looks very much like the original but some much needed improvements. Check out the video and let us know what questions you have and we’ll put another review together over the next few days.
The 9550 is available on the following plans:
3-year contract: $199.99
2-year contract: $499.99
1-year contract: $549.99
No Contract: $599.99
