Microsoft finally announced their new mobile platform – Windows Phone 7. We’ll be seeing a slew of devices launch in the next few months and also a bunch of app. One of the companies that presented at the event was eBay and they will launch their mobile app for WP7 in eight countries: Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom and United States. I don’t blame eBay for releasing an app so quickly, they have raked in over $500 million in sales since going mobile.
The app delivers the same functionalities as it does with other platforms such as the iPhone and BlackBerry. You;ll be able to find Daily Deals, search for items, bid on items, check your activity (bids, items won, selling, watching, messages and reminders) and pay using PayPal.
