Finally. The anticipated release and unfortunately delayed Rogers Samsung Galaxy S Captivate is almost available. Rogers has posted an update on their company blog that states “Just an update that we’re working towards launching the Samsung Captivate next week”. This is good news as it was originally supposed to launch this week, but was held back due to some manufacturing issues. In regards to pricing you’ll be able to get this for $149.99 on a 3-year contract and $549.99 no-contract. The Captivate will come with OS 2.1 (Eclair) but is expected to be upgraded to 2.2 “early 2011”.
