Looks like Rogers is going to be getting another touchscreen device this quarter. The Nokia N8 will be launching in the coming weeks and one of the best features of this device is that it comes with a 12 megapixel camera. In the internal doc that we’ve obtained Rogers makes a point to state that “a new 12 megapixel camera costs approximately $300-$400”. Good point.
Other specs of this Nokia flagship device have it coming with a 3.5 inch AMOLED display (resolution of 640×360), 680MHz processor, Symbian^3 OS, 16GB of internal storage and can expand up to 48GB, 3.5 mm headset jack, WiFi, other features of the camera have a Carl Zeiss lens, auto-focus, Xenon flash and records 720p videos, video calling, Ovi services.
We don’t have official price points yet but over in Europe the N8 costs €370, converted it’s around the $530 outright.
More soon.
