New entrant Mobilicity is busy these days. Launching new devices, setting up shop in other cities and throwing together a bunch of great promotions. There is a good article in Cartt.ca that reveals a couple things. First, the recently added Nexus One actually “sold out in 20 minutes”. Very impressive. Next is regarding one of the upcoming launch cities. Mobilicity will be expanding outside their GTA coverage in November. It’s been confirmed that Ottawa, Edmonton and Vancouver will all be going live within the next few weeks… but what about Calgary? Well, even though it was scheduled to go live before the end of the year, Calgarians will have to wait a few more months as the launch has been pushed back to “early 2011”. We reached out to Mobilicity to see what the reason for the delay was. They stated they’ll “launch when our network is ready, as we are committed to delivering the best possible consumer experience.”
