Rogers is feeling the competitive pressure. In an internal doc it states that “due to the recent competitive activity, we will be offering a 6 pm early evenings & weekends clock on all 3-year term plans until December 31st”. Certainly good news for those who are looking to go into a contract with them or as Rogers puts it “one more reason to choose” them. This is usually a $7 Add-on and is good for Unlimited voice plan, Unlimited Voice and Text plans, Student Plans and Family plans.
On another Rogers note, they have dropped the prices of a number of new devices. All on a 3-year term:
– Samsung Focus now 149.99 on 3-year (was $199.99)
– BlackBerry Curve 9300 Black & Violet now $29.99 on 3-year
– Samsung Captivate now $99.99 on 3-year (was $149.99)
– Nokia N8 now $49.99 on 3-year (was $79.99)
– Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 now $49.99 on 3-year (was $79.99)
– Samsung Galaxy Tab now $499.99 on 3-year (was $539.99)
