It’s been such a long journey so far for Waterloo-based Allerta. They are the makers of the first BlackBerry watch called “inPulse Smartwatch”. News started to pop up about them way back in early October of 2009. Soon after those who wanted to jump on board were offered the opportunity to a pre-order (that was late October 2009). Then in April of 2010 Allerta said that inPulse “is almost here”… but half a year later a recent tweet by the company reads that “inPulse is still very much alive. Just hunkered down in beta testing at the moment. Check out a recent *BETA*”.
We want Allerta to succeed – mainly because they have a great idea and operate in Canada. The inPulse Smartwatch connects wirelessly to your phone by Bluetooth and alerts you of incoming emails, SMS and calls… perhaps 2011 will be the year of the inPulse watch. For now you can check out some of the videos that have surfaced
