By the end of 2010 TELUS Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate owners might be getting an early gift. Samsung stated on Facebook a few weeks ago that OS 2.2 Froyo upgrade will be available “early 2011”. This was also recently confirmed by TELUS with a release coming “early this winter”.
With the Bell, Virgin and SaskTel Vibrant getting upgraded a note on the Samsung site reads “If you are an owner of a Samsung Galaxy S Captivate (SGH-i896) or Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 3G+ (SGH-T959), the upgrade software for these phones is currently being tested and we are working on a release for later in December 2010.”
