Google has started to roll out Android OS 2.3.3 updates to both the Nexus One and Nexus S – this brings the ability to write and read almost any standard NFC (Near Field Communication) tag, plus enhancements to Bluetooth, graphics, media and speech recognition.
Unfortunately Google says this might take “a few weeks”. On their Twitter account Google noted that “Gingerbread (Android 2.3.3) update now rolling out to Nexus S and Nexus One. Be patient, may take a few weeks for OTA to complete.”
