Another Android-powered device is coming to Bell. This time it’s the HTC Incredible S and the specs show it coming with OS 2.2, a 4-inch touchscreen display (resolution of 480 x 800 resolution), 1 GHz processor, 8 megapixel camera that can take 720p HD video and can reach peak download speeds of 14.4 Mbps. OK, enough about the specs… taking a quick look at the image above has this hitting shelves on April 4th for a no-contract price of $499.99 (their retail locations price but Bell Stores will most likely sell this for $499.95).
Bell is loading up on the Android devices… Desire Z, ATRIX, Nexus S and now the Incredible S. Good stuff.
Update: Apparently it will be Virgin that will be launching the Incredible S, not Bell. The SKU of “171-6XXX” is a Virgin Mobile SKU… Bell SKU starts with 171-5XXX. In addition, another tipster stated that the April 4th is just a general launch date but it will be “early April”.
Update #2: We were asked to remove the screenshot (but I’m sure you can find it on the web).
Update #3: Yes it true. Bell will also be releasing the HTC Incredible S. The SKU has popped up in the inventory system now.
More soon…
(Thanks tipsters!)
