If you think the dual-core 1Ghz processor is fast on smartphones now… Samsung is saying hold on because it’s going to get double as fast. Maeli Business Newspaper spoke with a high-ranking official within Samsung who says “We are planning to release a 2Ghz dual core CPU-equipped smartphone by next year. This product will have the data processing capacities of a regular PC”. The rumour also states that Samsung intends to sell the chips to other manufactuers so they’ll be able to use the power within their smartphones. No word on a release date or any other specs of the possible device we noted.
