One of the new partners Microsoft has to build Windows Phone is ASUS. At the preview event I grabbed a quick peak at their developer phone and it’s running the new Mango release (IE9, multitasking, live tiles). No word yet if ASUS will be coming to Canada but the prototype device was incredibly light and looked to have a 3.5 inch display with the standard 3 buttons: Home, Search and back. A video will be up shortly.
Update: There was absolutely no Canadian specific news regarding confirmed upgrade dates or new devices from any of the manufacturers. A bit disappointing.
