Google dominated once again. They announced their Q2 financial results and reported revenues of $9.03 billion, this represents a whopping increase of 32% compared to the Q2 of 2010. It was on June 28th that Google’s Andy Rubin tweeted that they are seeing “over 500,000 Android devices activated every day”, but today Google CEO Larry Page said there are now 550,000 Android phones activated every day. In addition, during the conference call it was noted there are now 400 different Android devices around the world… plus their Android Market has 250,000 available apps and has reached the 6 billion app download milestone.
That’s insane growth.
“We had a great quarter, with revenue up 32% year on year for a record breaking over $9 billion of revenue,” said Larry Page, CEO of Google. “I’m super excited about the amazing response to Google+ which lets you share just like in real life.”
