HP Canada is donating up to $100,000 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada just for touching the recently released TouchPad. They created the “Gives Like Nothing Else” campaign and all you honestly have to do is touch the tablet, not buy it, just touch it. The fundraising event starts July 23rd and goes until August 31st, HP will be at several Canadian locations promoting this good caue and every touch earns $2 towards the $100k goal. Here are the locations and times:
· Toronto, July 23-24, Harbourfront – 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
· Vancouver, July 30-31, Robson Square – 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
· Ottawa, July 30-31, ByWard Market – 10am – 6pm
· Halifax, August 6-7, Victoria Park – 10am – 6pm
· Calgary, August 6-7, South Center Mall – Sat 10am – 8pm, Sun 11am – 6pm
