An overseas report from DigiTimes has HTC, Samsung and LG all ready to unload new Mango-powered Windows Phone 7 devices in September. According to their insider sources the timing is to go head-to-head with the launch of Apple’s new iPhone. Other manufacturers who are apparently looking to launch new Windows Phone devices in the September period are Acer, ZTE and Fujitsu Toshiba, then Nokia could possibly announce/release their WP7 Sea Ray in October. Hopefully Canada will be on the initial launch plans.
Microsoft has set a goal of selling 100 million Windows Phone devices by the end of this year.
