A new picture of what could possibly be the iPhone 5 has surfaced again, this time on MacRumours. It’s unknown if this image is real or not but makes it look thinner and has the much talked about edge-to-edge display. The person who posted the image stated the “Picture taken yesterday in the office of a French operator. Believe it or not… we were able to see it only 2 minutes, pictures forbidden of course, so, we did our best… The only thing I can tell you, is that my iPhone 4 looks really slow now”.
All sounds really promising as this next generation iPhone is expected to come with the faster dual-core A5 processor. However, taking a look a this image versus those leaked cases there’s something very suspicious. First, some believe the next iPhone will have a “tear drop” that makes it go thick to thin from top to bottom, this seems to be missing from the picture. Next, there is no spot for the SIM card and the cases also implied that the ringer switch moved from the left side of the device to the right side, clearly the above pic has this missing too.
Take it for what you will. Real, fake…Apple will one day make an official announcement.
