When Rogers released the HTC EVO 3D they stated that “Yes, our HTC EVO 3D will have an unlocked bootloader”… this was quickly got retracted, but now HTC has come forward and has given the official nod to EVO 3D owners. Today on their bootloader unlocking site the Rogers EVO 3D is listed. This gives you ability to fully root and customize your device, however, it does come with a warning that when you proceed you’ll completely void the warranty.
