One thing that Google’s Android OS has done is drop the price of entry level devices. We’ve seen this with various manufacturers over the year and the newest to hit Canadian soil will be the LG Optimus Net. This will be arriving on Bell’s network, possibly Virgin too, on October 27th. As for specs, this will be powered by Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread, have a 3.2-inch display (320 x 480), 800 Mhz processor, Wi-Fi and a 3.0 megapixel camera – the price point will be a respectable $249.95 outright.
More soon!
