It’s been 2-weeks since Apple founder Steve Jobs passed away. Millions, probably hundreds of millions, of people around the world showed appreciation for his life by writing messages on Post-It notes, leaving flowers, developing logos, creating websites etc. Apple themselves asked people to send in messages to “share your thoughts, memories, and condolences” and many did. The tribute site is now live, it’s called “Remembering Steve” and it’s an extension of the Apple site.
Every 12 seconds a new message appears and it seems like it’s a continuous scroll. They noted that “Over a million people from all over the world have shared their memories, thoughts, and feelings about Steve. One thing they all have in common — from personal friends to colleagues to owners of Apple products — is how they’ve been touched by his passion and creativity.”
