The mysterious and quiet Samsung Galaxy S Glide launched on Rogers a few weeks back, and now some savvy hackers at XDA-Developers have achieved root access on the phone. This should allow a deluge of custom ROMs, overclocked kernels and a bunch of other awesomeness on this Tegra 2-powered device. Root has been achieved with a modified kernel, that is flashed using Samsung’s ODIN app.
