Bell already has LTE coverage in Toronto, Halifax, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, Belleville and Yellowknife… but tomorrow they will turn on more locations. Those located in Montréal, Québec City, Ottawa, London, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver will be able to access peak download speeds “as high as 75 Megabits per second”, but more realsitically it’ll be between 12-30Mbps. Bell says that they are located in “far more cities than its major wireless competitor” (Rogers) and plan to expand their coverage into more cities this year, possibly into rural areas, but will depend “the federal government’s 700 MHz spectrum auction policy decision”.
