Updated: Apple TV to come on March 16th for $109CAD.
We’re following the next iPad launch and Tim Cook just made it official. In addition to some incredible statistics, like 315 million iOS devices sold, and 62 million sold in the last quarter alone, there is some big iOS news.
Just as rumoured, iOS 5.1 will become available today, with localized Siri support for Japan and a few other features. The App Store recently crossed over the 25 billion download mark and isn’t stopping there.
Apple is launching a new Apple TV upgrade with 1080p support and limited app availability, including streaming your Photo Stream from the cloud. You can also stream and re-download any previously-purchased movies from iTunes; this is also going to come to the iPhone and iPad. The new Apple TV will be available on March 16th for $109CAD.
