Remember the free BlackBerry apps that RIM handed out a few months ago? A bunch of “Compliments of BlackBerry” apps were brought back last month specifically for those who have a BlackBerry OS 7 device, or the PlayBook. Unfortunately these free apps were restricted to the United States, but now the floodgates have opened up and the apps have become available to us Canadians. Here’s the list of 17 apps – they’ll be free until May 31st:

– Color ID
– Screen Muncher

– Fixmo Tools
– Next Dual Pack
– Popup
There some good apps in there: Pinball Deluxe, Screen Muncher and BeWeather.
