Today you can expect a great deal of Samsung Galaxy S III news. Rogers went live with a countdown timer to possibly pre-order, and now Quebec-based regional carrier Videotron has confirmed the earlier rumours of a June 20th release. They have posted a sign up page that states “Samsung Galaxy S III – The new Galaxy is coming June 20th.”
Update: As expected, the flood of carrier press releases are now hitting our inbox. TELUS sent a note saying they’ll launch the GS III June 20th “in both marble white and pebble blue colors.” In addition, they said the device has “a 1.5GHz Dual-Core processor” and “will also be available with 16GB of memory or 32 GB of memory for $159.99 and $209.99 on a three year term, respectively.” TELUS has also decided to put a promo together that will see the $35 activation fee waived.
So there you have it, Canada will have the GS III in 3 weeks!
