Virgin will be releasing the BlackBerry Curve 9320 on Monday. This Curve has the same iconic BlackBerry design as previous Curve devices, but there’s a couple key features that could make this something to consider over other entry-level devices. Sure, the Curve 9320 is not for everyone, but will do incredibly well for those getting their first smartphone. The price is now confirmed at an incredibly low $150 outright – that alone is something to think about – and you’ll have to find a plan that works out for you. In addition, the Curve 9320 comes with the latest OS version 7.1.0.398.
Finally, using BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) can usually be achieved in a couple steps, but RIM decided to make the 9320 a bit more social by creating a “dedicated BBM button.” This is the first BlackBerry, and probably only Berry, that will have one-button press to BBM. The button is located on the left hand-side of the device.
Below are some pics of the device, showing the BBM button, QWERTY keyboard, raised back, home, menus and optical trackpad keys. Check them out, look for this to be available on Monday.
(Thanks tipster!)
