Rogers and Fido recently released the entry-level LG Optimus L7 and last month we let you know that Bell has plans to launch the L5. Today, LG declared that this Android OS 4.0 device will fist land in the U.K., Germany and France this month, then followed “CIS, Middle East and Asia before crossing the ocean over to Central America and South America.” No word on when this will hit North America – probably in time for back-to-school – but when it does it’ll be NFC enabled. The L5 is a mid-level smartphone that has a 4-inch display (320 x 480), Single core 800 MHz processor, 5 megapixel camera and a 1,500mAh battery. Still no word on pricing.
