RIM’s BlackBerry 10 OS is a rare beast. It was officially unveiled at BlackBerry World 2012 and RIM has been travelling the world showing parts of the OS off to developers with their BlackBerry 10 Jam sessions. We’ll have a first hand look at the Toronto event on Thursday, but today they stopped off in New York and Engadget got themselves some hands-on time. Yet again, it’s looking incredibly impressive. Still in Alpha mode, Gary Klassen, Principal Architect at RIM, showcased the touchscreen keyboard – which looks impressive and can predict what words you want to use, then eventually will learn your style and habits. Plus, there’s a quick view at the homescreen widgets and switching between apps, this is what CEO Thorsten Heins said was RIM’s new “flow” that gives users the ability to have a quick “peek” at a previous screen or notifications.
