Facebook App Center is now live in Canada. This “discovery service” should be showing up on your Facebook homepage (left hand side) and gives you access to view about 600 “high quality” iOS and Android apps. Everything is based on “feedback from people who use the app,” and “personalized recommendations” from your friends. As stated before, the Facebook portal currently omits the ability to directly purchase/download the app, but gives you a link to iTunes or Google Play.
The Facebook App Center was initially launched in United States last month and Facebook stated on their company blog that “it has helped millions of people discover new mobile and web apps,” specifically noting that game developer Kixeye has seen “better than average revenue per user for its games.”
