Bell’s Galaxy S II i9100 got bumped to Android 4.0.3 in May, long before that of its competitors, and now it looks like Samsung has started the ball rolling on another update. Apparently hitting Russian handsets now, Samsung has issued a bump to ICS 4.0.4, fixing a number of issues with the initial release.
While it’s not known if or when the Bell variant will receive such an update — the carrier approval process typically takes some weeks — we’re hoping that it comes sooner than later. We found, especially on the Galaxy Nexus, that the bump from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 brought a bunch of stability improvements.
