Nokia’s Windows Phone handsets have found their way to many Canadian carriers – TELUS, Rogers, WIND, Mobilicity, SaskTel and Videotron. The Lumia 610, 710, 800 and 900 have all been launched.
Over the weekend there was a leaked screenshot from Nokia’s own Remote Device Access service that pointed towards potential Lumia model numbers of 920, 950 and 1001. This gives us all hope of future devices. No indication of the specs, nor their arrival. However, Richard Kerris, Nokia’s Global Head of Developer Relations, was interviewed by Neowin and said 2013 is where the fun is. Yes, Nokia will release new Windows Phone 8 device in the fall, but Kerris says that in the Spring of 2013 “people will be climbing over themselves” for a new Nokia device.
Spring of 2013 is 9 months away. Would you wait that long? Would be great to see that roadmap…
