Rogers will launch the LTE Rocket Hub on Thursday August 2nd, allowing up to 15 simultaneous connections to the carrier’s LTE network. Using the 2,600Mhz spectrum the device will connect at a theoretical maximum of 100Mbps, though more realistic numbers are around 40Mbps.
Rogers will be bringing LTE speeds to 28 more cities by the end of the year, in addition to the current list. The Hub works by plugging it into an electrical outlet, so if you’re looking for something more portable, check out the Sierra Wireless AirCard 330U which we looked at previously.
We’re not sure about pricing at this point, but we’ll update this post when we have more information. Check out Rogers Redboard for the full scoop.
