CyanogenMOD 10.1 nightlies up for Galaxy Note II in both LTE and AWS versions

The Galaxy Note II has been one of the most up-to-date devices on the market, and since it comes with Android 4.1 most coveted features are available to the user out of the box.

But for those looking to get away from the colourful nature of TouchWIZ, CyanogenMOD 10.1 nightlies are now available for the 5.5-inch handset. The software version is Android 4.2.1, which is slightly newer than the shipping OS, and provides access to lockscreen widgets, an improved keyboard, an updated camera UI with support for Photo Sphere and more.

The first test build works on the Rogers/Bell/TELUS version (i317) as well as the WIND/Mobilicity version (T999), retaining the LTE characteristics of the former. You will need to have a custom recovery to install the software, and should know your way around Samsung’s ODIN software just in case, but if you’re ready to take the plunge there’s a Wiki to support you on your quest.

A couple features, such as Bluetooth audio and FM radio, are still not working, so be aware of that before you make your decision, but otherwise everything is working as it should.
