We’re hearing reports across Twitter, Facebook and through many incoming emails that TELUS’ data network is down across the country. The network operator has acknowledged the issue, which is affecting both 3G and LTE devices, and is working hard to fix the problem.
The issue cropped up at around 1pm ET and is affecting all data-related communications; phone and SMS service is reportedly unaffected.

Update, 2:41pm: Connectivity is reportedly sporadic, as some users are saying they have service. Major cities such as Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Halifax are definitely affected.
Koodo users are also being knocked out by the data issue, as it piggybacks off the TELUS network.

Update, 2:59pm: Data connectivity seems to be restored now for many users, including me, but if you are still having issues connecting to the TELUS data network, cycle your phone so it’s forced to reconnect.
