A pretty great mid-range Android phone has hit Bell after being available on Rogers, Fido and Virgin for a few months.
The Sony Xperia SP, a 4.6-inch device with a 720p display, a 1.7Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage (expandable), 8MP camera, a decent-sized 2370mAh battery, LTE connectivity and Android 4.1.2, is now available from Bell for free on a 2-year term and $299.95 outright.
Considering the device shares many of the same specs as Motorola’s Moto X but for a lower RAM and internal storage count, this is a pretty great deal. It has a dedicated camera shutter button and Sony’s now-standard right-side aluminum power button, along with an unfettered version of Android 4.1.2.
While Bell is late to the Xperia SP game, this is a decent phone at a great price.
