Facebook for Android has gained many of the useful features and performance improvements that users of the beta version have taken advantage of since early September.
Android users can now edit posts created beforehand, lending a greater sense of control over their content. Emotions can be expressed more succinctly, too, by using emotion icons in place of words, just in case you’re into that.
Not a huge feature increase, but there’s one important thing we’ve noticed over the past few weeks: Facebook is getting faster. It’s clear that the team has been optimizing the code, smoothing out the wrinkles that previously resulted in sputtery scrolling, slow load times and molasses-like picture loading.
