BlackBerry recently declared that the upcoming 5-inch Z30 will soon arrive on Bell, TELUS and MTS. There was no word on a specific release date or pricing – but we now have this information for you.
According to an internal doc we received it reveals that Bell will start selling the BB10-powered all-touch smartphone on October 15th. This will most likely be the same date that TELUS and regional carrier MTS will bring this to their customers, too. As for pricing, expect this to be priced between $600 and $650 outright.
Specs of the Z30 sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED display (1280×720), 1.7 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB RAM, 8MP camera, 2MP front-facing camera, NFC, LTE, 2880 mAh battery, and runs BlackBerry OS 10.2. In addition, the Z30 brings ‘BlackBerry Natural Sound’ – which is a ‘new technology exclusive to BlackBerry that enables BBM Voice and BBM Video chats to sound ‘more natural and realistic.’
Update: TELUS has posted news on Twitter that they too will have the Z30 on October 15th. No word on pricing.
Update #2: While it’s not too shocking, but still good to know. Bell has just announced on Twitter that they will release the BlackBerry Z30 on October 15th. They have not listed the prices, but we previously posted that the no-term contract price will be $699.95 outright.
