Wow. Looks like all the backlash has paid off!
After stating that they “think the 3 BlackBerry devices we carry meet our customers’ needs,” Rogers has heard the call and ‘In response to customers’ feedback and excitement,’ will indeed release the BlackBerry Z30:
“We have a longstanding partnership with Blackberry and continue to be big supporters of the company and their products. Rogers will be making the device available online, through our national reservation system and directly to our business to business customers. We’re pleased to add the new Z30 to our roster of Blackberry smartphones, which includes the Z10, Q10 and Q5.”
No specific word on pricing or availability. Most likely on October 15th like Bell, TELUS and MTS for $700, but as stated above it’ll only be available online.
