The famous “coming soon” label has been removed and SaskTel has officially added the Nexus 5 and the HTC Desire 601 to their lineup.
Both run Android, Nexus 5 with KitKat and Desire 601 with Jelly Bean, and the prices are in line with what other Canadian carriers are selling them for – 16GB Nexus 5 for $499.99 outright (Google Play has it for $349), 8GB Desire 601 for $299.99 outright.
The Desire has a 4.5 inch display (540 x 960 pixel resolution), LTE-connectivity, a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, a 5MP camera that captures 1080p HD videos, a 2100 mAh battery, dual front stereo speakers and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
The Nexus 5 is the latest gem from LG and Google and sports a 4.95-inch 1920×1080 display, 8MP camera with a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, 2GB RAM, running KitKat.
