A couple weeks back BlackBerry unveiled their latest upscale smartphone, the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9982.
We had some hands-on time with the P’9982 and came out impressed. This BlackBerry 10 powered device has a high price tag of $2,500, but if you purchase this limited edition gem you’ll be one of the very few that can claim to have a BB10 that’s “expertly crafted” with a satin finished stainless steel frame, and a back battery door that’s hand-wrapped in genuine Italian leather.
For those elite who desire a bit more exclusivity, BlackBerry will also make an additional 500 units available at Harrods in London that has the back battery door outfitted with “genuine Crocodile leather.” There is no word yet on the price difference, but the above picture gives a first look of the difference between the P’9982 in Italian leather and the P’9982 in genuine Crocodile leather — both an acquired taste.
