Nokia has changed up their social media channels from the standard blue colour to a eco-friendly Android-looking green. This is not ground breaking news and could hint that all the rumours and leaks are true of Nokia launching its first Android-powered device. In addition, Nokia has also scheduled its Mobile World Congress media event for February 24th and this also has a green theme with the tag line “Meet us under the tree.”
Nokia is expected to launch the sub-$200 Normandy, which will be a highlty customized version of Android, for emerging markets in the coming weeks. As for the specs, which also confirm previous reports, the Normandy will be a dual-SIM device that has a 4-inch display (480 x 854 pixels), 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, 5MP camera and Android 4.4 KitKat.
