Google has lowered the monthly prices for its Drive cloud storage and document editing platform to ridiculous levels, undercutting Dropbox and OneDrive, and even upstarts like Copy and Mega.
Google has been pushing Drive quite hard in recent months, integrating it with Google+, Docs and Keep, and updating its iOS and Android apps with lots of document editing functionality.
The latest prices are as follows:
- 15GB – free
- 100GB – $1.99/month (was $4.99)
- 1TB – $9.99/month (was $49.99)
- 10TB – $99/month
All existing users will be upgraded to the new lower prices automatically.
To contrast these prices, Dropbox charges $9.99/month or $99/year for 100GB.
