HTC One ‘M8 Ace’ leaked a few weeks ago and additional details have now surfaced. HTC will apparently launch this as a follow-up to the all-aluminum HTC One M8, but it’ll lack one of its trademarks – the aluminum unibody. Engadget is reporting that HTC will outfit the Ace with a plastic design and stack it with impressive specs that will rival other flagship smartphones, namely a 5-inch 1080p display and a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor.
There is no indication that the M8 Ace will hit Canadian carriers, perhaps the Fido, Koodo and Virgin Mobile brands. As for a price point, it’s expected that the plastic M8 Ace will come in around $500 no-term.
