BlackBerry is currently on a enterprise customer tour across North America to spread the word on upcoming products. We were at the Toronto event a few weeks back, where John Sims, President of Global Enterprise Services, talked a lot about IoT ahead of the company’s Project Ion announcement. This week, BlackBerry is in DC, giving hands-on demos of BBM Protected and BES12, BlackBerry’s BES 10 replacement that allows for cross-platform mobile device management (MDM), compatibility with legacy BB OS devices, and much more.
In the video below, Senior Director, Enterprise Product Management, Jeff Holleran gives a rundown of some BES12 features, including its customizable dashboard and multi-platform app deployment. While brief, the video does reinforce the notion that BlackBerry is committed to providing a versatile but easy-to-use solution for IT Admins.
BES12 is set for release in November of this year. Let us know if its something your enterprise is looking to deploy.
